We evaluate patients with muscle weakness and/or elevated muscle enzymes  and try to recognize the cause of their symptoms/abnormal test results. It is important to recognize and diagnose the more serious forms of muscle disease in order to initiate therapy. Some cases of weakness/abnormal muscles enzymes can be due to the patients medications which can then be altered.
